I completed a PhD in geography in 1992, then worked in engineering and economics at the University of Melbourne; in 1995 I joined the Burnet Institute, where I am a senior research fellow. I’m also an adjunct senior lecturer at Monash University and an accredited PhD supervisor. My research focus is hepatitis C virus epidemiology.

My CV includes large NHMRC and ARC-funded research projects, research and evaluation projects for the Victorian government, evaluations of health programs for New Zealand’s Ministry of Health, and other consultancies.
