I’ve maintained a longstanding interest in steroid use, particularly relating to bodybuilding and sport (see my publications in 2002 and 1998). So, I’m very pleased to report that co-investigators Suzanne Fraser and David Moore (Curtin University), Kate Seear (Monash University) and Kay Stanton (Darebin Community Health Service) and I have been awarded an ARC Discovery Grant to investigate the use of performance and image-enhancing drugs in Australia, beginning in 2017.
